  • “The School-Based Eye Health Program has brought essential eye care services closer to children and the wider community who might otherwise have gone unnoticed. Early detection and timely treatment have allowed many students to continue their education free from the burden of vision problems. The ophthalmic equipment provided through the project, combined with the comprehensive training we received, has greatly enhanced our skills and knowledge. Through the door-to-door survey, we reached many individuals who had lived with untreated eye conditions for years, some believing their problems were untreatable and even resorting to harmful traditional practices, such as burning in-turned eyelashes. Today, thanks to this program, many of these patients are receiving proper care and regaining their sight. As a hospital, we are proud to be part of this impactful and life-changing initiative.”
